ANNOUNCEMENT

On 21st February 2025 Apodemus became the exclusive commercial licensee of the pipistrelle family of bat acoustic devices and software, and took over all future hardware and software development. Apodemus' first pipistrelle family products will be the Apodemus Pipistrelle Mini  - a handheld time-expanding / heterodyne bat detector - and the Apodemus Pippyg, a 384kHz static bat detector.

Both devices are now available directly from the Apodemus website or via their global distribution network, both devices priced at an RRP of €65 inclusive of VAT.

In the UK buy from Wildlife Services www.wildlifeservices.uk/search?q=apodemus or NHBS
https://www.nhbs.com/search?q=apodemus

Note that the purchase of pre-assembled and tested units from Apodemus supports a couple of important charities. Financial contributions are made to the ongoing development of the BTO Acoustic Pipeline - the world's most advanced automated bat call classifier - and to Friends of Friendless Churches, who work to conserve our built heritage and the bats that live there.
